Parma lowland. Where the great Maestro Giuseppe Verdi was born. The small village of Roncole Verdi, deeply linked to the history of Giuseppe Verdi’s life and musical career; in the evening you will attend to the Roncole Festival with the Verdi birthplace in background creating a suggestive and unforgettable atmosphere. A musical and cultural journey that it is also a tasting trail, marked by the unique perfumes and flavors of Culatello of Zibello and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

The tour starts from the visit of the big composer’s birthplace that left a mark in his life and creativity. The meeting with the Maestro will reach the summit with the Roncole Festival that will allow to hear the Verdi opera played by an important orchestra, in an unique location like the little village square who saw the birth of the great Maestro, with the background of the legendary house where Luigia Uttini gave life to Giuseppe Verdi. At the end it will be possible to enjoy the flavors that the Maestro loved more and the atmospheres that he preferred and from which he got his inspiration.

First day

Arrival in the afternoon in Verdi’s places and visit of the Giuseppe Verdi’s Birthplace in Roncole with the small church of San Michele where there is conserved the organ where Verdi began to play. Dinner in typical restaurant to taste the traditional plates of the Parma lowland. Transfer to Guareschi’s Square in Roncole Verdi to listen to the Roncole Festival concert. The Roncole Verdi orchestra will play the most famous pieces from Verdi’s Operas. At the end return to the hotel and overnight staying.

Second day

Breakfast. Free time to visit the city of Parma or Verdi’s places, opportunity to ask for customized tours to know better the ‘Petite Capitale’, Busseto and the sorroundings or to organize special and unforgettable food and wine tours. Departure.
